Research Assistant Positions

The MBE-Optoelectronics Group seeks highly qualified applicants for our PhD program. Applicants with outstanding background will be considered for Graduate Research Assistant positions. Students with a bachelor's degree and high GPA may apply for our Direct Ph.D. Program. The research focus of the group is on applied physics and innovative designs of optoelectronic devices and compound semiconductors. It has several strong research programs for the MBE growth, design, processing and integration of various novel solar cells, LEDs, lasers, and photodetectors. Applicants with passion about electrical engineering and applied physics and with hands-on experience with materials growth, device processing, electronic testing, and theoretical modeling will receive favorable consideration.

Postdoctoral Research Associate Positions

We are seeking highly motivated individuals for one or more postdoc positions available immediately. Applicants should have strong background in one of the following areas: epitaxial growth (MOCVD and MBE) of semiconductor materials (II/VI and III/V), processing and testing of optoelectronic devices (lasers, photovoltaics, and detectors).
