Research Assistant Positions

The MBE-Optoelectronics Group in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering seeks qualified national and international applicants for Graduate Research Assistant positions. Superior credentials are required. Outstanding students with bachelor's degrees may apply directly to the Ph.D. Program. The MBE-Optoelectronics Group has strong research programs in the areas of MBE growth, optoelectronic device design (novel lasers, VCSEL, and photodetectors), processing and integration. Hands-on experience in any of these areas will be a big plus although not required.

Postdoctoral Research Associate Positions

We are seeking highly motivated individuals for one or more postdoc positions available immediately. Applicants should have strong background in one of the following areas: epitaxial growth (MOCVD and MBE) of semiconductor materials (II/VI and III/V), processing and testing of optoelectronic devices (lasers, photovoltaics, and detectors).
